Poppy poster

Poppies have become important around the world because they are recognised as being a symbol of remembrance of the soldiers who fought in the war. And they also are a very important source of fundraising for the RSA to give money to the soldiers families.

W.A.L.T use the information about poppies to create an advert.

I liked the layout of Poppy Day and next to it, it was our ideas.

What we used was a brainstorm.

Have you made a poster about poppies? comment below.

  1. Oh my goodness Max, each post continues to blow me away. I am so impressed at the way you have come up with such an engaging advertisement. This is such a unique way and totally covers what the task asked of you.

How did you come up with idea?

I have made posters when I was your age. Anzac day and poppies are such an important part of history and should be remembered for years to come.

Thank you Max for such a great post!

  3. Hi Max,
What a great way to create an advert of the importance of Anzac Day. I really like how you have used the idea of acrostic poem to share your ideas. It was a simple and very effective way to get your important message across. I also like how you have used the colour scheme of the Poppy!
I too made a poster when at school to share my learning and importance of Anzac Day, but like you was not a fan of drawing, so using your idea of acrostic poem would of been a very good way to share your learning.
I look forward to seeing more of your acrostic poems in the future.
    Well done Max!
