How to use a protractor

W.A.L.T use a protractor is and how to use it.

I learnt how to use one and what the different terms meant eg vertex. It was sometimes challenging because it was quite hard to see the number of degrees accurately.

The picture came from a google search saying protractor - source unknown. My answers came from a talk with mum, the videos and blakes math guide.

Do you know how to use one.

  1. Hey Max, fantastic DLO, it is very simple but is very straight forward telling us exactly how to use a protractor. I really like how you have use arrows to point out what parts of the protractor are.

It will be good for you to know that it won't always be this hard to read the numbers but you have done really well to overcome that challenge.

Don't forget to add a question mark for your question.

When do you think you may need to measure angles?

  2. Hi Max
I like it how you showed what are vertex is, and how you explained how you use a protractor. It is also amazing how you put When do we use them? and Why do we use them? This google drawing would be great for showing others how to use a protractor and teaching them the main point of a protractor.
