Coordinates
WALT understand how to get from one point to another on a grid by using the X and Y axis and coordinates.
I found how to actually do it hard to start with but once I found the coordinates for the 4 shapes I understood what the instructions really meant.
Do you know what this is?

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post
Hi Max, great job on explaining coordinates and how to use them. I really like how you have explained how to use coordinates if there are negative numbers involved.
ReplyDeleteYou said you found it hard at the start, why did you find it hard?
Next time you may want to change the background colour as it has lots of squares. You can change the background by right clicking on the google drawing and click background.
I had to remember to do along the x axis first and know whether it was left or right. Thanks for the tip - I couldn't remember how to do it.
